A poem

Mom said, "oh no," through a stifled laugh.
The son had found Dad's leftover birthday cake
That which he had not consumed was
ground into the white shirt he wore
to church that morning.

Son looked dazed,
though happy.

Dad said: "hey, save some for me."

And then Son bounced himself off the walls.
