Where I've been...

This idea comes from my friend Hugh. I thought it was kinda cool.

My cousins (brother & sister to each other) are in a race to see who can "get" all 50 states first. "Get" means "go to." So even if it's just stepping foot in the place, they've "got" it. I bet their lists are much more BOLDED than mine, though I think I probably have them both beat with the number of underlines. Anyhow, here goes:

bold the states you've been to, underline the states you've lived in and italicize the state you're in now...

Alabama / Alaska / Arizona / Arkansas / California / Colorado / Connecticut / Delaware / Florida / Georgia / Hawaii / Idaho / Illinois / Indiana / Iowa / Kansas / Kentucky / Louisiana / Maine / Maryland / Massachusetts / Michigan / Minnesota / Mississippi / Missouri / Montana / Nebraska / Nevada / New Hampshire / New Jersey / New Mexico / New York / North Carolina / North Dakota / Ohio / Oklahoma / Oregon / Pennsylvania / Rhode Island / South Carolina / South Dakota / Tennessee / Texas / Utah / Vermont / Virginia / Washington / West Virginia / Wisconsin / Wyoming / Washington D.C /

Well actually, in our quest for the Big 50, we have a few rules. Just setting a toe into the state doesn't count.

1. Airports and train stations don't count.
2. 1 hour, minimum, must be spent within the state.
3. A meal must be ingested within the friendly confines of said state.

That being said, I'm missing Florida, Hawaii, Alaska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. I think my sister is one ahead of me, but you'd have to ask her.
